Inferno is the first part of Dante Alighieri's 14th-century epic poem Divine Comedy. It is followed by Purgatorio and Paradiso. The Inferno tells the journey of Dante in to the centre of the world; Hell. Hell is depicted as nine concentric circles of torment located within the Earth. As we now descend into our Covid-19 Hell perhaps its time to revisit Dante's poem.
